World Language Registration - DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 21, 2008
Fall 2008 session begins week of October 6, 2008
This website is for Seattle Public Schools' Coe, John Hay, Blaine and Lawton Elementary families interested in signing students up for before or after school language classes for academic year 2008-2009. If you are registering more than one child, you must register each child separately.

Program Information
Languages:
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL SPRING - French, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese
Session:
FALL 2008 - 10 week session, classes begin week of October 6, 2008
Frequency:
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL -Most classes meet two times per week, before or after school, and last 45 minutes each. Some Coe Spanish classes meet 3 days per week, 45 minutes each class. No language classes are held on regular public school closures.
Schedule and Communication:
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL FALL CLASSES - Afternoon classes meet between 3:00 and 4:15 pm depending on location. Morning classes meet right before school between 8:00 and 9:00 am depending on location.
The registration page registration page lists the actual schedule and class location under language selection. You do not have to register to see the schedule.
Once you have registered, you will receive information by EMAIL regarding all class details by October 3, 2008 for FALL SESSION.
Tuition Amount:
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL $190 for classes which meet 2 times per week, $285 for Coe Spanish classes which meet 3 times per week
Payment:
Please make your check payable to The Language Link, LLC indicating in the memo section your child's SCHOOL, NAME and LANGUAGE (this is important**).

Registration Deadline and Payment Due Date:
FALL SESSION - SEPTEMBER 21, 2008
Your payment by this date secures a space for your child.
Family Discount:
If you are enrolling more than one student from the same family, please take a $25 discount per family on the total tuition amount for classes at the $190 tuition rate, for classes that meet 3 days per week with the $285 tuition. please take a $40 discount.
Refund Policy:
FALL SESSION - 100% refund up to OCTOBER 3, 2008.
50% refund if student withdraws by end of 1st week of class.
Scholarships:
There are a limited number of scholarships available for children who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please contact Barbara Ford at timbbford@comcast.net for further information.
Class sizes are capped at 12 students per class. Students are assigned a class based on date of registration. If a class is full, your student will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified by EMAIL.
If there are not at least 8 students to form a class, some age groups will be combined, or tuition may be increased. If this happens, you will be contacted to confirm you would still like to enroll your child.
*** All communication about the class (class location, schedule, lesson plans, periodic program information, etc) will be done by EMAIL. Please make sure your EMAIL address is correct. If EMAIL is a problem for you, please contact Barbara Ford at 283-3348***
