World Language FALL/WINTER Session 2010-2011

Session runs October 4, 2010 - February 4, 2011
This site is for families at Seattle Public schools Adams, Arbor Heights, Catherine Blaine, Coe, John Hay, Lawton, Orca K-8, and Queen Anne Elementary who would like to sign their children up for extra-curricular world language classes.

Frequency: |
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL - Choose from classes that meet two, three or five times per week, before or after school. Classes last 45 minutes each. No language classes are held on regular school closures (holidays, snow days, etc.). |
Schedule and Communication: |
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL SPRING CLASSES - Afternoon classes meet right after the school day between 2:30 and 4:15 pm depending on location. Morning classes meet right before school between 8:00 and 9:15 am depending on location. The registration page registration page lists the actual schedule and class location under language selection. You do not have to register to see the schedule. Once you have registered, you will receive information by EMAIL regarding all class details by September 30, 2010 for FALL/WINTER SESSION. |
Tuition Amount: |
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL Tuition for 15 week Fall/Winter session:$330 for classes that meet 2 times per week $495 for classes that meet 3 times per week $830 for classes that meet 5 times per week There are two 15 week sessions per school year, so if you prefer to register for the full year and take a 5% discount on tuition, please select this on the registration page. |
Payment: |
Payment can be made online or by check. If you pay by check, your payment must be received by September 17, 2010. Please make your check payable to The Language Link, LLC indicating in the memo section your child's SCHOOL, NAME and LANGUAGE (this is important**).

Family Discount: |
If you are enrolling more than one student from the same family, please take a 10% discount on tuition for all siblings after the first one registers at the published tuition rate. If there are more than 4 siblings, please contact Barbara Ford for further discounts. |
Refund Policy: |
FALL/WINTER SESSION - 100% refund up to September 30, 2010. 50% refund if student withdraws by end of 1st week of class. No refund if student withdraws after that. |
Scholarships: |
Seattle Public Schools:There are a limited number of scholarships available for children who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please contact Barbara Ford at info@thelanguagelinkllc.com for further information. |
Class sizes are capped at 12 students per class. Students are assigned a class based on date of registration. If a class is full, your student will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified by EMAIL.
If there are not at least 8 students to form a class, some age groups will be combined, or tuition may be increased. If this happens, you will be contacted to confirm you would still like to enroll your child.
